The PIDC Secretariat works with Members, other regional organisations, donors and specialists to build the skills of immigration officers in the region. Trainings coordinated and delivered through the PIDC complements national training programmes and ensures that donor funds are better-targeted.

With the support of its partners, a model training curriculum and training modules were developed to assist all Members in developing foundational national introductory and induction immigration training programmes for their staff.
