PIDC Secretariat meets Samoa’s Attorney General, Susuga Su’a Hellene Wallwork – Lamb

In strengthening its collaboration with key stakeholders and partners in the host country Samoa, the Head of PIDC Secretariat was honoured to have had a meeting with Samoa’s Attorney General, Su’a Hellene Wallwork – Lamb. Su’a has been in the legal profession for over 26 years. She started as Samoa’s Attorney General in 2021. The meeting was held at the Attorney General’s Office at the Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi Building on Wednesday, 10th April 2024.

In this courtesy call PIDC presented to the Attorney General an overview and briefing of PIDC, its goals, functions and responsibilities in supporting members manage and monitor immigration border management security operations and strategic discussion platforms across the Pacific Region. Further, the meeting also allowed the Secretariat to follow up on some of the matters raised at the March 2024 Board meeting in Apia including the official statement on the legal changing of the organisations name from Pacific Immigration Directors’ Conference to the Pacific Immigration Development Community.
