Immigration Ministry ends walk-in services from September 29

Fiji’s Ministry of Immigration has announced it will stop accepting walk-in customers at all its offices nationwide from Monday, September 29, 2025.

The Ministry said only applicants with confirmed online appointments will be served.

However, urgent cases will still be received without an appointment, strictly limited to medical, official travel, study, work, and returning Fiji citizens or permanent residence holders — provided the required supporting documents are presented.

Permanent Secretary for Immigration Aliki Salusalu said the decision was made to improve operational efficiency and ensure timely service delivery.

Passport enrolment and collection services will continue from Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 3:00pm.

Members of the public seeking clarification can contact the Ministry on 9927264, 9921015, or 3312622 (Ext. 321616).
