Pacific Nations Enhance Migration Data Skills to Address Regional Challenges

Immigration officials from 20 Pacific countries convened in Brisbane from April 28 to May 2, 2025, for a vital training programme focused on migration data collection, analysis, and management. Hosted by the Pacific Immigration Development Community (PIDC), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the five-day workshop equipped 34 participants with enhanced data capabilities.

IOM and Japan Support the Marshall Islands to Enhance Border Management

Majuro – In a collaborative ceremony, last week, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) together with the Embassy of Japan and the Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), delivered essential equipment to strengthen border management and prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
