The Secretariat has compiled a list of conventions and treaties relevant to immigration, including key articles and signatory members.
The document was developed in response to members’ requests and is intended to assist those tasked with developing new immigration legislation, as well as policy-makers and immigration officials, with understanding the international and regional context and the implications for domestic legislation and practice. It is also intended to complement PIDC’s Framework for Developing Immigration Legislation presented to the 2010 PIDC Conference.
